About Windy Moraine Trail
Windy Moraine Trail is a 1.5-mile loop that takes you through a field to the moraine left from when the last glaciers melted during the Ice Age. During the hike, visitors can climb to the top of the hill on a modest incline through a beech-maple forest and a pine plantation. Expect incredible views of Glen Lake from the top of the moraine, especially when the leaves are off the trees!
